5.2 meters per second: that is the maximum arm speed of the TM25S, the flagship of the Techman cobot family in terms of payload. With a 25 kg payload and a reach of 1902 mm, the robot goes beyond the typical uses of desktop cobots and targets high-intensity pick&place, machine tending and larger-scale palletizing.
Unlike simpler models such as the TM5 or TM12, the TM25S also has a built-in force/torque sensor at the tip of the arm alongside the standard 2D camera, a sensor set similar to what the Universal Robots UR20 or Fanuc CRX-25iA offer in the heavy cobot segment.
The manufacturer does not publish a price for the TM25S, which is the rule across the whole Techman range and makes it hard to compare cost with the competition without a request for quotation. The robot is available in Poland through TFM Robotics.
The TM25S is aimed at plants with high palletizing volumes, where both payload and cycle speed matter; smaller assembly applications will be better served by the lighter TM5 or TM12. The lack of an explicit price and of data on the robot's own weight are the main limitations when assessing this offer.

Running and deployment costs
You will not find a TM25S price in any public source we checked: the manufacturer does not publish one, and in Poland the arm is available through tfm-robotics.pl on request for quotation. The lack of a price is the rule across the whole Techman family, not an exception.
For orientation: the UR10e costs around PLN 160,000 (≈ EUR 36,600 at NBP rate 4.3716 of 20 October 2026) at a distributor. A cobot with a 25 kg payload and a reach of nearly two meters will, as a rough estimate, fall in the range of PLN 150,000–250,000 (≈ EUR 34,310–57,190) for the arm alone; that value comes from a survey of the category, not from a manufacturer offer. On top of that, add a gripper for heavy loads, pallets, safeguarding and integration; the total deployment budget can be up to twice as high (rough estimate).
Running costs: electricity and inspections; a robot working three shifts wears its mechanics faster, so plan for servicing. Training in the TMflow software is usually a few days (rough estimate). In your calculation include Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację), see “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”: a 50% deduction of robotization costs in 2022–2026; also see the purchase plan in “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.

Applications
What it's for
5.2 meters per second: that is the maximum arm speed of the TM25S, Techman's flagship cobot in terms of payload. That figure tells you who it was built for: not a bench with small parts, but a factory floor where the robot has to run nonstop and keep up with the line. The TM25S lifts 25 kg, has a reach of 1902 mm and, unlike the simpler models in the family, an additional force/torque sensor at the tip of the arm alongside the standard 2D camera.
The manufacturer lists high-volume palletizing, pick&place and machine tending for this model. The force/torque sensor at the arm tip complements the 2D camera, and the 1902 mm reach sets the height and width of the working zone.
In practice it is a robot for production plants, finished-goods warehouses and packing halls (factories, warehouses).
A caveat: higher payload and reach mean a bigger arm, and so more space and a sturdier mounting. We found no figure for the robot's own weight, which makes it hard to judge the load on the base; ask the distributor for it. For lighter assembly tasks it makes more sense to choose the Techman TM5-700 or Techman TM12, which will fit small spaces better.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Reach for the TM25S if you palletize large volumes, tend machines with heavy parts and want a built-in camera and force sensor without buying extra modules. It suits plants where payload, reach and cycle speed all matter at once.
It is not a model for small assembly stations, where 25 kg of payload is a waste of money and space. Do not buy it either if you need a public price and a quick comparison online: the manufacturer does not publish one, and without a request for quotation you will not find out what the TM25S costs. If your part weighs 30 kg or more, look at the Techman TM30S (data unconfirmed) or heavier competing cobots, for example the UR30 or FANUC CRX-30iA. Companies with no robotics experience should start with a pilot on a single workstation and check throughput on their own packaging.
Deployments
The Polish distributor of the model is TFM Robotics (tfm-robotics.pl), so purchase and service are available in the country. Comparison with competing cobots: cobots and “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared”.
Comparison
Among competitors in a similar class, four robots are worth considering.
The UR20 has a 20 kg payload and a 1750 mm reach: less than the TM25S, but with a huge ecosystem of grippers and integrators. Choose it when 20 kg is enough and availability of parts and know-how is important.
The FANUC CRX-30iA is FANUC's flagship with a 30 kg payload and a 1756 mm reach; it suits heavy palletizing if you already have controllers from this brand.
The Doosan H2515 lifts 25 kg, the same as the TM25S, and you can buy it in Poland through coboty-doosan.pl; a good reference point for pricing.
The UR30 is the heaviest Universal Robots cobot (30 kg, weighing 63.5 kg), for loads that exceed 25 kg.
From the same brand, also consider the Techman TM20 if 20 kg is enough and you want a smaller arm.

History
Techman Robot (Taiwan, Taoyuan, founded 2016) builds cobots with built-in vision. The TM25S belongs to the newer, separate S series with the highest payload, alongside the Techman TM30S; the earlier TM5, TM12, TM14, TM16 and TM20 models form the classic family, whose heaviest member is the Techman TM20. There is no launch date for the TM25S, so we do not give one; check it in the datasheet on tm-robot.com, which is the reference for these data. Company profile: Techman Robot.
