D01
Touch is the organising idea of the D01 from Singapore-based Sharpa: a four-layer tactile skin covers the whole body, resolves pressure to 0.2 N, samples at 100 Hz on a 10 mm grid and, according to the maker, lets the robot make contact with its surroundings safely.

The tactile Wave hands add to that; the hand page for the W02 states 21 degrees of freedom, the D01 page leaves the figure open, while the complete robot has 66 degrees of freedom. Two 7-axis arms lift 5 kg each, which at roughly 40 kg without the chassis gives a payload-to-weight ratio close to one to one; end-effector speed exceeds 10.5 m/s. Height adjusts between 1109 and 1624 mm.
Computing runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Thor and control on CraftNet, a model that fuses vision, touch, language and action; a depth camera provides the image. Runtime, battery capacity and driving speed are not published. The robot is quoted on request via an order form and no deliveries are confirmed; target users are labs, factories, restaurants and retail, the task being contact-rich manipulation.
The full-body North from the same company has one more degree of freedom and already works shifts in a restaurant.
