The Dex3-1 is Unitree's force-controlled three-finger hand. The thumb has three degrees of freedom and the index and middle fingers two each, seven joints in all; six are brushless direct-drive joints and the seventh is geared. At 710 g and 175 by 88 by 77 mm, the hand runs hybrid force-position control with a repeatability of 2 mm.
Touch comes from 33 pressure sensors in 9 arrays covering 10 to 2,500 g. The interface is USB 2.0 at 1,000 Hz, the supply range 12 to 58 V, current 0.2 A idle to 10 A peak, with a 400 W burst allowed for 3 seconds. Payload is modest at 500 g for a 5 cm cylinder, which makes clear that the design is about precision and sensing rather than lifting.
It mounts on the Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 humanoids. According to RobotShop in the USA, October 2026, the right hand for the H2 costs 6,000 USD, the left 6,656 USD and the pair 13,312 USD; those H2 listings quote 650 g, which may point to a different build. Buyers who need five fingers with the same sensor family can step up to Dex5-1.
