Gripper specialist DH-Robotics from China packs six motors into the DH-5-6, a five-finger hand with 6 active and 11 total degrees of freedom. The hand weighs 790 g, holds 10 kg in a hook grip, squeezes with 80 N across five fingers and 25 N per finger, completes a cycle in 0.8 s and is rated beyond one million cycles.
Touch sensing is not standard, but multi-point tactile pads with a response time under 0.62 ms and a range up to 2 MPa are offered as an option. Control runs over RS-485 using Modbus RTU or the maker's own protocol at 24 V. The US distributor Robotics Center listed the hand at USD 5,500 in October 2026 with a lead time of four to six weeks. DH-Robotics targets humanoids, industry and research.
In the same six-actuator class the eHand-6 is cheaper and the RH56DFX lighter, while the DH116 Series offers a far higher hook-grip rating.
