A slim waist and the ability to squat set the ROBOTERA Q5 apart from most wheeled humanoids. The Chinese company announced its service robot in June 2025 and declared the market release at CES 2026. Only one figure comes directly from the maker: 44 degrees of freedom across the body.
Everything else stems from the humanoid.press database and has not been confirmed by ROBOTERA: roughly 165 cm height, 65 to 70 kg, five-finger XHAND Lite hands with 11 degrees of freedom, a 10 kg single-arm payload, up to 2 m/s and about 4 hours of runtime. The omnidirectional wheeled base navigates by fusing LiDAR with stereo cameras.
Software comprises the ERA-42 vision-language-action model, RobotEra OS on ROS 2 and voice interaction in more than 37 languages. The Q5 greets visitors, hands over gifts, picks up objects and serves customers in shopping malls and tourist sites; deployments named are the Century Golden Resources Mall in Beijing and the Chengdu Panda Base. Target sectors are hotels, retail, care, education and entertainment.
The model is on sale, price on request. Compared with the ROBOTERA M7 from the same company, the Q5 is fully mobile and built for public interaction rather than lab work.
