Eighteen tactile zones and a proximity sensor make the XHAND1 Pro the sensing flagship of ROBOTERA's lineup. Five fingertips measure force in three axes, ten phalanges and three palm pads measure it in one, all spanning 0.1 to 25 N at 0.01 N resolution, and a 10 mm proximity sensor announces objects before contact.
The hand is fully actuated with 21 degrees of freedom; the quasi-direct drive with motors inside the hand is backdrivable, so fingers give way under external force. It weighs 884 g, measures 210 x 102 x 44 mm, opens to 160 mm and loads each fingertip with 15 N; open-close cycling exceeds 5 Hz. It accepts 24 to 72 V and speaks EtherCAT, RS-485 and CAN FD.
ROBOTERA pairs it with the Manus Pro glove or the IO-Tech exoskeleton for teleoperation. AIFit Lab lists it at 30,000 USD as of October 2026. Whole-hand payload is not published. For a tendon-driven alternative with a comparable joint count see Shadow Dexterous Hand, which weighs several times more.
