Summary

Richtech Robotics, previously known for the bartending robot Richtech ADAM, presented the Dex on 28 October 2025 as its first industrial humanoid and showed it publicly at CES 2026. It remains a prototype: the company promises detailed specifications closer to launch and currently offers pilot deployments.

Two versions exist, a mobile one on a wheeled base standing 137 cm and a stationary one on a pedestal at 109 cm that runs on mains power around the clock. The two arms handle 11 pounds each, about 5 kg in total, and the end effectors are modular, with hands, clamps or tools as options. An NVIDIA Jetson Thor provides the computing and four cameras supply vision.

In mobile mode the battery lasts around 4 hours and recharges in 2 hours. According to the maker, Dex detects obstacles and can work near people. Intended jobs are machine tending, part sorting and material handling in industry and logistics. Weight, number of degrees of freedom and driving speed have not been published. Price on request; pilot customers are not named.
