Summary

ADAM is a humanoid bartending arm from Richtech Robotics, a NASDAQ-listed company. It already works at NVIDIA's headquarters and in a Walmart store, where it prepares cocktails and coffee. The robot is part of Richtech's fleet of more than 450 deployed units, alongside the Scorpion (AI demonstrations) and the Titan (deployed in a Mercedes-Benz showroom in Plano).

The manufacturer publishes no technical specification or price list for ADAM; unlike, say, Korea's Doosan, whose collaborative arms have open payload and reach figures, here the customer has to ask directly for a quote.

A strong point is documented deployment at recognizable brands and the status of a listed company with more than 11 patents, which sets Richtech apart from many service-robotics startups still looking for their first reference customer. A weakness remains the lack of transparency: it is not known what the payload, arm reach or drink-preparation cycle time is.

ADAM is not offered in Poland, and there is no information on a distributor for the Central European market. It is a solution of interest to premium hospitality and event venues seeking a "wow" effect, and less so to typical quick-service food outlets, where a transparent deployment cost matters.

Running and deployment costs

The manufacturer does not publish ADAM's price: the customer has to ask for a quote. We therefore have no purchase figure or monthly subscription on file. As a rough estimate, looking at other food-service robots, a bartending robot alone could cost anywhere from a few tens to several hundred thousand zloty, but that is only an order of magnitude; a real offer can only come from Richtech. Running costs include energy (540 W is little), ingredients and cups, restocking and cleaning the station (hygiene is the main duty), servicing and staff training. Deployment also requires preparing the station: space for a 50 kg robot, power, and integration with the ordering system. There is no public data on the full cost per labor hour compared with a bartender, so we will not promise payback after X months. For hospitality, the key question is usually whether the robot increases the company's production capacity. Total-cost calculator: “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.

Applications

What it's for

Richtech ADAM is a humanoid bartending arm from an American company listed on NASDAQ, working at NVIDIA's headquarters and in a Walmart store, where it prepares cocktails and coffee. It has 6 degrees of freedom (DOF), a 5 kg payload, a weight of 50 kg and mains power (540 W, AC). The manufacturer names hospitality and retail as its applications; the confirmed places of work are the NVIDIA headquarters and a Walmart store mentioned above. In a quick-service restaurant, where seconds and a predictable cost per portion count, ADAM has a harder job: there is no public data on cycle time, arm reach or deployment costs. It is not suited to work outside a controlled station: mains power means no mobility. ADAM is part of Richtech's fleet of more than 450 deployed units, alongside the Scorpion (AI demonstrations) and the Titan (Mercedes-Benz showroom in Plano).

Typical applications

  • Cocktail/coffee preparation (NVIDIA HQ, Walmart)

Who it's for

Yes: premium hotels and restaurants that want to build their own attraction at the bar. Yes: event and trade-show organizers with a budget for a "wow" effect. Yes: retail chains testing automated drink preparation at selected locations.

No: venues that count every zloty of payback; without a price and cycle-time data you cannot reliably calculate profitability. No: companies in Poland expecting local support; the manufacturer names no distributor for the Central European market, and ADAM is not officially offered here. No: small cafes; the cost and space requirements (the robot weighs 50 kg and needs power) may outweigh the sense of it. No: anyone looking for a robot to serve the floor; service robots for waiting tables are better here, and we cover them in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”.

Deployments

Abroad, ADAM works at NVIDIA's headquarters and in one Walmart store, preparing cocktails and coffee. Richtech itself claims more than 450 deployed units across the whole fleet. In Poland, serving robots are available in this category, such as the Pudu BellaBot and the Keenon DinerBot T8, whose deployments we describe in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”. See also restaurants and hotels.

Comparison

Pudu BellaBot is a serving robot available in Poland (129 cm, 40 kg payload, about PLN 56,205 (≈ EUR 12,880 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026)). It will not make coffee, but it will deliver orders and relieve staff.

Keenon DinerBot T8 has three trays, a 20 kg payload and costs about PLN 27,133 (≈ EUR 6,220); a cheaper way to automate the dining room, with availability in Poland.

Bear Robotics Servi is an NSF-certified serving robot with a 30 kg payload for about USD 9,990, though without confirmed availability in Poland.

Mirokaï is a French social robot (123 cm, 26 DOF), closer to the role of a "brand ambassador" if you want an image effect without preparing drinks.
