Summary

With a telescoping mast that reaches 12 meters, this robot can work several levels of storage totes at once, carrying up to 9 loads in one trip, just like the shorter A42 but with far more vertical reach. What the available sources do not offer is any price. For the standard A42, an independent comparison site quotes a rough figure of about $50,000; the A42T does not even have an estimate.

It targets the same sectors as the rest of the HaiPick family (3PL, e-commerce and general warehousing), with particular emphasis on very high-bay facilities that standard ACRs cannot reach. The strength is a vertical reach most competitors cannot match. The weaknesses are the missing price, no confirmed availability in Poland, and a picture that rests mainly on a single source.

Running and deployment costs

There is no A42T price. The manufacturer does not publish one, and the independent comparison site that prices the shorter A42 does not have even an estimate for the T version.

The reference point is the A42: about $50,000, or roughly PLN 193,800 (≈ EUR 44,410 at NBP rate 4.3641 of 21 October 2026) per robot. As a rough estimate the A42T will cost more than the A42 (greater reach, a telescoping mast, more mechanics), but we cannot document that. The real cost of a project also includes racking, packing stations, WMS integration, charging and Wi-Fi, usually several times the price of a single robot, as the category “Mobile robots (AMR)” confirms. In practice, companies start with a pilot of a few units.

Poland's robotization tax relief (ulga na robotyzację, “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”) covers brand-new industrial robots and related equipment; whether a warehouse system qualifies is for a tax advisor to decide. Training and service are priced by the integrator, not the robot manufacturer.

Applications

What it's for

The HaiPick A42T is a telescoping ACR (Autonomous Case-handling Robot) from HAI Robotics that reaches where people, forklifts and most robots run out of reach: it drives up to the rack, extends to a height of up to 12 meters and lifts off totes or cartons, up to 9 at a time. The manufacturer calls it the first robot of its kind in the world.

The model is aimed at warehouses that add capacity through taller racking rather than floor area: 3PL, e-commerce and general warehousing, with particular emphasis on very high-bay storage (warehouses). The payload in the data is 30 kg, and the job is picking totes and cartons.

What is it not suited for? Moving pallets and heavy loads; that is the territory of platforms such as AGILOX ONE or MiR250 (we cover their strengths in “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”). Nor is it a robot that roams the floor following a person: it works in an environment designed around racking. Where a typical AMR ends and a "goods-to-person" system begins is shown in the category “Mobile robots (AMR)”. On price and availability in Poland the sources are silent, so treat the A42T as a technology direction rather than a ready-to-buy offer.

Typical applications

  • Crate/tote picking up to 12 m height

Who it's for

Yes: for logistics operators and online retailers with a large range of small items, high-ceiling buildings and a cubic-volume ceiling they are running into. Also for integrators who build warehouse projects and want to compare HAI's approach with competing automated storage systems (AutoStore is the reference point HAI is often measured against).

No: for small warehouses with low ceilings, where the 6-meter A42 (or an ordinary AMR) is enough. Not for companies that expect a price on the spot, because there is none. Not for buyers who want to check references in Poland: we know of no confirmed A42T deployments here. If you are just starting out with warehouse automation, first read about entry-level AMRs in “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”; the cost logic is laid out in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost” (the method carries over to other robots).

Deployments

No A42T deployments in Poland have been confirmed, and there is no information on a HAI Robotics distributor here either. The manufacturer names 3PL, e-commerce and general warehousing as target sectors. In the rack-robot category, Poland does have confirmed projects from other manufacturers: the Geek+ P800 at the Arvato center in Poznań (December 2025) and the Geek+ RoboShuttle at Decathlon Łódź. We have collected more such examples in “AMR Robots in the Warehouse”.

Comparison

If 12 meters is more than you need, or you want a proven supplier in Poland:

HAI Robotics HaiPick A42 is the A42T's older sibling: reach up to 6 meters, up to 9 totes at once, and an indicative price from about $50,000 (PLN 193,800 (≈ EUR 44,410)). The right choice if your racking is not that tall.

Geek+ P800 is a rack-to-person robot deployed in December 2025 at the Arvato center in Poznań. The manufacturer publishes no technical data, but the Polish reference is real.

Geek+ RoboShuttle is a tote-to-person system deployed at Decathlon Łódź (completed around mid-2021), proof that "tote to person" works in Polish conditions.

Locus Origin is an order-picking robot with a 36 kg payload, sold on a subscription (RaaS) model. It is a different approach, with the robot working beside the person rather than a high-bay racking system. The right pick depends on rack height, order volume and whether you need references from Poland; for now, those last two criteria favor Geek+.

History

HAI Robotics is a Shenzhen company founded in 2016, which we describe as a competitor to AutoStore in the segment of robots for racking up to 10 meters high. The HaiPick family includes the A42 and A42T, and both are on sale. The launch date of the A42T is not given, so we do not guess it. The point of the evolution is clear from the numbers, though: the jump from 6 meters of reach (A42) to 12 meters (A42T) shows that the warehouse market wants robots that use cubic volume rather than floor area.
