Summary

The feature that distinguishes W-Bot, known in Chinese as Bowen (博文), is a folding hip-knee-ankle structure: although it rolls on wheels, the humanoid from Yue Quan Bionics has legs that bend like a person's instead of a rigid column.

According to a 36Kr report from July 2026 the W-Bot 2.0 version therefore works anywhere from floor level up to about 2.2 m while occupying a footprint of only 0.238 square metres, which suits it to manipulation in cramped warehouse and factory spaces. The company uses hands and motors of its own design, and the robot was exhibited at WAIC 2026.

The same report accompanied a Pre-A+ funding round; the company, founded in November 2022, claims cumulative orders above 100 million CNY without breaking them down by model. Height, weight, degrees of freedom, carrying capacity, speed and runtime have not been published; the maker's site offers no accessible content, and numbers from third-party databases are not adopted here.

The sales status is not confirmed by the maker and the price is on request. Alongside W-Bot the company develops the bipedal X-Bot.
