Two robots from the service segment, two completely different jobs. The temi V3 is a reception and telepresence robot with a large screen; the LG CLOi ServeBot is a trolley for carrying dishes and goods. They still get compared, because both drive themselves around a premises, both cost from a few to a good dozen thousand dollars, and both end up in hotels and service venues. The short answer is no. Below we compare the products of Robotemi Global and LG Electronics in numbers. The wider context of the segment is described in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”.

Design and specifications
The temi V3 has a 13.3-inch touchscreen, a 20 W speaker and four microphones with beamforming. It moves autonomously, follows a chosen person without a remote and remembers named locations, navigating with 360° LiDAR and front cameras. It has no arm and no shelves, so it carries nothing. The maker gives no weight or battery runtime in the material available.
The CLOi ServeBot has the opposite profile: no advertising screens, only shelves of about 50×40 cm each and a payload of up to 30 kg in total. Navigation uses LiDAR, a 3D camera, ToF sensors and a bumper, and charging takes about 5 hours. Height, weight and runtime are not given. In practice the temi V3 is a communication tool and the ServeBot a logistics one. Decide first whether you need something that guides a guest or something that brings a tray, and only then compare prices (“How to Read a Robot Datasheet”).
Price and availability in Poland
The temi V3 is about four times cheaper. The WiFi version costs USD 4,499, which at the NBP rate of 1 October 2026 (3.8762) is about PLN 17,439 (≈ EUR 4,000); the model with a 4G/5G module is USD 5,499. On RaaS the rate starts at USD 125 a month. The CLOi ServeBot costs USD 17,900 (about PLN 69,384 (≈ EUR 15,900) at 3.8762 on 1 October 2026) or USD 746 a month at RobotLAB, nearly six times as much on subscription. The gap on subscription is therefore wider than on purchase.
Neither robot has a confirmed Polish distributor. The temi is sold mainly through RobotLAB and resellers in Western Europe, and the ServeBot has one documented channel in the sources available, the US-based RobotLAB. For comparison, the dearer GuideBot from the LG CLOi family costs USD 39,990 (LG CLOi GuideBot). Importing means adding VAT, transport and service; we describe how to calculate total cost in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”.
Which model for which job
The temi V3 fits where human contact counts: at a reception desk, in a healthcare facility for teleconsultations, for guiding visitors (hospitals). Its camera and microphones also need assessing under GDPR (“Data Security: Robots with Cameras and the GDPR”). The ServeBot fits restaurants and hotels (restaurants), where it is meant to relieve staff of carrying tableware; a subscription is the cheaper way in for a venue that wants to test automation without a large investment. If you are looking for a purpose-built serving robot with Polish backing, consider the Pudu BellaBot or the cheaper Bear Robotics Servi. The whole segment is covered in the category “Service robots”.
Conclusion
These two robots differ in purpose despite looking similar at first glance: the temi V3 is a telepresence and reception platform used in healthcare and guest services, while the LG CLOi ServeBot delivers food and goods with a 30 kg payload in restaurants and hotels. The temi V3 is much cheaper, from USD 4,499 for the WiFi version (about PLN 17,439 (≈ EUR 4,000) at the NBP rate of 25 Sep 2026) or from USD 125 a month under RaaS (robot-as-a-service), versus USD 17,900 for the CLOi ServeBot (about PLN 69,384 (≈ EUR 15,900)) or USD 746 a month. The CLOi ServeBot has richer navigation sensing, with LiDAR, a 3D camera, a ToF sensor and a bumper, while the temi V3 relies on 360° LiDAR and front-facing cameras. For reception, teleconsultations and guiding visitors, the temi V3 is the cheaper and more versatile choice; for actually transporting dishes and goods in foodservice, the CLOi ServeBot has a dedicated design with a defined payload.
Reception, teleconsultations, guiding visitors: choose the temi V3, which is much cheaper and designed for conversation, not transport. A restaurant or hotel that wants to carry dishes and plates: the ServeBot, but only if it accepts importing without a Polish distributor, and after comparing it with robots that have local sellers. Do not buy the temi V3 as a “cheap waiter”, because it has no shelves or payload. Do not buy the ServeBot for reception, because it has no screen for talking to a guest. If you need both functions, buy two robots: the WiFi temi V3 and the ServeBot together cost about USD 22,400, which is less than a single GuideBot from the LG CLOi family. The comparison rests on data from manufacturers and distributors, not on our own tests.
