Where the GuideBot from the same CLOi family bets on screens and guest interaction, the ServeBot concentrates on a single function: transport. The robot has shelves of about 50x40 cm each and a combined payload of up to 30 kg. It costs $17,900 (about PLN 69,384 (≈ EUR 15,900) at a rate of 3.8762) to buy outright, or $746 per month under RaaS from the distributor RobotLAB.
The subscription is the cheaper way in for restaurants that want to test automation without a large upfront investment. Navigation relies on LiDAR, a 3D camera, ToF sensors and a bumper, and charging takes about 5 hours.
Compared with the GuideBot, which costs more than twice as much ($39,990), the ServeBot is a cheaper, simpler product without advertising screens; choosing between them depends on whether the priority is the venue's image or pure delivery logistics. The robot's presence in Poland is not confirmed, and no local distributor is known; the only documented sales channel is the US company RobotLAB.
It suits restaurants and hotels that want to relieve staff of carrying tableware, especially with the subscription option available in place of a one-off purchase.

Purchase price $17,900 or $746 per month RaaS (RobotLAB)
Running and deployment costs
Buying costs $17,900, about PLN 69,384 (≈ EUR 15,900) at the 3.8762 rate of October 1, 2026; RaaS is $746 per month (RobotLAB). $746 times 12 is $8,952 per year, so buying pays off compared with renting after roughly 24 months, excluding service and insurance.
In Poland the competitors are cheaper: the PuduBot 2 from about PLN 42,927 (≈ EUR 9,840), the Keenon T8 about PLN 27,133 (≈ EUR 6,220). So the ServeBot doesn't win on price unless the LG brand matters to you. Running costs are not described; as a rough guide, count charging, replacement of wear parts and possible service. Imports from outside the EU may add customs duty and VAT.
Staff training is short: operating the panel and charging.

Applications
What it's for
The LG CLOi ServeBot from the CLOi line by LG Electronics is a delivery robot with shelves of about 50 x 40 cm and a combined payload of up to 30 kg.
Its job is delivering food and goods in food service (restaurants) and hospitality (hotels). The robot doesn't hold conversations and has no large advertising screens; unlike the LG CLOi GuideBot, it focuses on transport.
It works well where staff lose time on repetitive runs: kitchen to dining room, front desk to guest rooms, back of house to bar. The freed-up time can go to guest contact, which is the greatest value of robots like this. It won't replace a human serving people at the table. Nor is it a heavy-load robot: 30 kg spread over several shelves is its limit, and heavier jobs call for mobile robots. A broader overview is in “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Worth considering for: mid-sized and large restaurants, hotels with a restaurant and back-of-house areas, and venues with long routes between kitchen and dining room. The RaaS plan at $746 per month lowers the entry threshold for venues that want to test automation without a large investment.
Who it doesn't suit: small cafes where the route is a few meters; the robot won't pay for itself in that layout. We also don't recommend it for venues with very narrow aisles and heavy crowding, where navigation will stop at every guest. We know of no Polish distributor and have no information about service in Poland.
Before you decide, see “Service Robots in Restaurants and Hotels”.
Deployments
We have no confirmed ServeBot deployments in Poland, and we don't know of a Polish distributor either. All we know of is sale and rental in the US through RobotLAB.
In Polish food service and hotels, competing delivery robots are available, for example the Pudu HolaBot from rkserwis.com and the PuduBot 2 from positivemachines.pl. See service robots.
Comparison
PuduBot 2 is a food-service delivery robot with a 40 kg payload across 7 trays and marker-free navigation; in Poland it costs from about PLN 42,927 (≈ EUR 9,840) or rents from PLN 990 (≈ EUR 225) per month (positivemachines.pl).
Pudu HolaBot is Pudu's largest delivery robot: 4 trays, 120 l, 60 kg payload, IPX5 rating, sold in Poland by rkserwis.com for PLN 55,500 (≈ EUR 12,720) gross.
Keenon DinerBot T8 is a waiter robot with 3 trays and a 20 kg payload, about $7,000 (PLN 27,130 (≈ EUR 6,220)); prices vary between sellers.
temi V3 is cheaper (from $4,499), but it is a reception and telepresence robot, not a delivery one. If you need a robot to greet guests, reach for the LG CLOi GuideBot.

History
We have no confirmed launch date or milestones for the ServeBot, so we don't give a timeline. The outline is known: LG develops the CLOi line in several variants, and the ServeBot is a cheaper and simpler product than the GuideBot, with no advertising screens and a single function.
The robot is offered in the US by RobotLAB for sale and rent. There is no data on later generations; look for new information at LG Electronics.
