Summary

Eggie is a wheeled home humanoid that the San Francisco start-up Tangible Robots revealed in November 2025 through a short launch video posted by the company. Founder and CEO Bipasha Sen leads a team that came out of the Founders Inc. environment and has raised roughly USD 4 million in seed funding.

The robot drives on a wheeled base, carries a head with two front-facing cameras and uses the company's own humanlike hands. Tangible frames the design around three pillars, dexterity, compliance and whole-body control; in the demonstration Eggie wiped up spilled coffee, standing in for contact-rich household chores.

Its AI is trained on real-world data gathered in hundreds of environments, according to the maker. The company website is still a placeholder without technical content, so height, weight, degrees of freedom, runtime and price are unknown and the price is on request. One publication describes Eggie as bipedal, but the video and image captions show a wheeled base.

The robot is pre-commercial, with no customers or sales date announced. By comparison the Chinese HIVA Haiwa also targets household work on wheels but comes with a published specification.
