Same shape, same 22 active degrees of freedom from 22 actuator modules, lower numbers everywhere else: the Wave W01 SE is Sharpa's cost-reduced edition of the SharpaWave. Payload drops to 24 kg, grip force to 90 N, fingertip force to 12 N and open-close cycling to 2 Hz.
The fingertip tactile arrays shrink to 60 by 60 points with 0.05 N sensitivity, 2 mm spacing and 30 frames per second, and tactile inference runs only on board, with no raw image exposed to the user. Connectivity is 1000BASE-T Ethernet.
Weight, dimensions and supply voltage are not listed separately for this edition; on the W01 product page the SE figures appear as a second, unlabelled column, so the assignment rests on image file names. Sharpa aims the SE at research groups and data-collection fleets where the number of hands matters more than peak tactile resolution. Price on request.
For a compact alternative with whole-hand electronic skin see Wave W02; for a different budget route to 22 joints compare the modular Gaia Hand 20.
