A reach of 1,350 mm with a 10 kg payload and ±0.03 mm repeatability puts the AUBO i10 between the lighter i5 and the heavier i16 in the range from Chinese maker AUBO Robotics. The robot weighs 38.5 kg - more than comparable European cobots with a similar payload, which can be a drawback if you move the station often.
The six-axis design is popular in welding applications, including in the AUBO USA catalog, as well as for handling and palletizing. Programming is via SDK/API with broad peripheral compatibility (grippers, vision systems), though the ecosystem of ready-made applications remains smaller than Universal Robots', which the i10 competes with directly on price.
Distribution aimed specifically at the Polish market is still unconfirmed. AUBO Robotics is a Chinese company with a dedicated AUBO Robotics USA branch, serving mainly the North American market.
The i10 is a proposition for integrators seeking a longer-reach cobot at a price competitive with the UR10, provided purchase and service terms outside China and the USA can be settled directly with the manufacturer or its partner.

Price and availability in Poland
Running and deployment costs
Purchase: from German distributor unchainedrobotics.de the AUBO i10 costs about EUR 21,000 net, which at the rate used in our catalog comes to roughly PLN 91,900 (≈ EUR 21,020) net. That is the price of the arm with controller alone; the manufacturer publishes no official price list for Poland.
On top of that come expenses that often get lost in quotes: a gripper, fixtures and a table, guarding, and for welding a power source and torch with interface, plus integration and commissioning. As an estimate, a whole cell can cost from one and a half to three times as much as the arm itself; that is an industry rule of thumb, not a manufacturer figure, so verify every quote with an integrator.
Running costs are electricity, periodic inspection and service, which with a non-EU manufacturer is often the weakest point. Operator and programmer training, as an estimate, takes from a few days to two weeks, depending on whether you use ready-made libraries.
Robotization tax relief: buying a brand-new robot and peripheral equipment can give an additional 50% deduction of costs from the tax base in CIT/PIT. Under current law, 2026 is the last year the mechanism applies; we explain the rules in “Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”. The logic of calculating the whole is shown in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost” - it concerns humanoids, but the split into purchase, integration and operation is the same.

Applications
What it's for
The AUBO i10 is a six-axis cobot with a 1,350 mm reach and 10 kg payload, sitting in the AUBO Robotics lineup between the lighter i5 and the heavier AUBO i16. Its biggest asset is reach: the arm gets to places where shorter designs with a similar payload would need a raised base or an extra linear axis.
The manufacturer and distributors point to three main jobs. The first is welding. The AUBO USA catalog promotes the i10 precisely in welding applications, and a repeatability of ±0.03 mm is enough to guide a torch along a seam. The second job is handling, meaning machine tending - loading a lathe or a press, moving castings, serving a quality-control cell. The third is palletizing: 10 kg is enough for cartons of parts, and the 1,350 mm reach lets you build a pallet of reasonable height without a column-mounted cart.
The robot is designed as a collaborative robot, so it can stand next to people - as long as the rules from the risk assessment are followed, which we cover in the piece on “Robot Safety Standards”. In welding you still need shielding from the arc and fumes, so "cobot" does not mean working without safeguards here.
Programming is done through the SDK/API and compatible peripherals: grippers, for example from Robotiq or OnRobot, and vision systems. For a company with its own programmer or integrator, that is an advantage. For a company wanting ready-made apps "off the shelf," it is a limitation, because the ecosystem is smaller than Universal Robots'. The classic use in a factory is exactly this: small-batch production with frequent changeovers.
Typical applications
Who it's for
Best suited to: integrators and manufacturing plants that need long reach at a 10 kg payload and want to pay less than for a branded arm from Europe or Japan. It works where the station is fixed - the robot weighs 38.5 kg, so it is not equipment you wheel from cell to cell every day. It suits companies with their own maintenance staff.
A poor fit: a small company buying its first robot and expecting full support from a local distributor, training in Polish and next-day service. There is no confirmed official distribution in Poland, and suppliers refer buyers to individual quote requests. Ask about service, spare parts and response time before you sign the order. We also advise against the i10 for anyone who wants to learn robotics on "school" equipment with a rich Polish community - here you are better off with the UR10e or Doosan M1013, which have distributors in the country. For more on the purchasing steps, see the guide “How to Buy a Cobot Step by Step”.
Deployments
What is confirmed is that AUBO promotes this model in welding applications in the AUBO USA catalog, and that its market is mainly the United States.
On Polish shop floors, cobots from Universal Robots, Doosan and FANUC dominate - these brands have local distributors and integrators. If you are looking for references from a plant in your industry, start with the comparison “Universal Robots UR5e, UR10e and UR20 Compared” and the list of companies in “Polish Robotics Companies”.
Comparison
UR10e - the market benchmark: 12.5 kg payload, 1,300 mm reach, sold in Poland by elmark.com.pl. It is listed at about PLN 159,600 (≈ EUR 36,510), clearly higher than the i10, but with the largest ecosystem of accessories and know-how.
Doosan M1013 - 10 kg and 1,300 mm, available in Poland from Transition Technologies-CS, price on request. Choose it if local support matters to you; details in “Doosan Robotics: Cobots from the Korean Maker in Poland”.
FANUC CRX-10iA - 10 kg payload, six axes, in Poland via spawalnictwo.pl. The natural choice for a welding shop that wants a brand with a long history in industrial robotics.
Techman TM12 - 12 kg and 1,300 mm reach, built-in 2D vision, available through TFM Robotics; good when position control of parts matters without a separate camera.
AUBO i16 - the same manufacturer, higher payload (16 kg), if the i10 turns out too weak for your cartons.

History
No confirmed launch date for the i10 is available to us, so we do not give one. What is known is that it belongs to the i-Series from AUBO Robotics - a Chinese manufacturer with an AUBO Robotics USA branch that serves mainly the North American market. The series covers cobots from 3 to 20 kg payload: the i10 is the mid-range model, and the AUBO i16 is the heaviest variant.
In the history of the cobot industry, Universal Robots blazed the trail that Chinese manufacturers follow today: a light arm, simple operation, lower price. AUBO fits into that wave as a "cheaper alternative" to UR. The general market context is covered in “What Is a Cobot and How Does It Differ from an Industrial Robot”.
