Vesoma is a startup based in Munich and Limassol, founded in December 2025 by Nikolai Ensslen, founder of the drive maker Synapticon, and Peter Skoromnyi of Easybrain. Martin Riedmiller, formerly a researcher at DeepMind, serves as Chief AI Officer. By the company's own figures from 22 September 2026 it employs more than 60 people and runs a laboratory of over 3,500 square metres.
Its first humanoid, Vesoma 1, is under development: alpha units are in the lab, and the robot is meant to learn physical work through its own trial and error. Target applications are logistics, manufacturing and warehouses. No specifications or prices have been published.
