Every joint of the OmniHand 3 Ultra-M has its own motor: AGILINK's product page counts 21 active degrees of freedom with direct drive and an encoder in each actuator, while the reseller lists 20.
Despite this density the hand weighs 630 g and completes an open-close cycle in 0.3 s. Load figures differ by source: Global Drone HQ states 8 kg lifting and 3 kg stable grasp, the AGILINK page 5 kg; dimensions appear as 205 x 93 x 50 mm (AGILINK) or 189.5 x 88.5 x 40 mm (reseller), and repeatability as 0.1 or 0.2 mm.
What sets it apart from the cheaper OmniHand 3 is camera-based tactile sensing: optical fingertip sensors capture a three-dimensional force distribution and a six-dimensional resultant over 0 to 30 N with 0.005 N and 0.04 mm resolution, and a 300-pixel three-dimensional palm sensor resolves 0.1 N. Interfaces are CAN-FD, Ethernet and RS485, supported by a C++ and Python SDK, a ROS 2 reference node and models for the Isaac and MuJoCo simulators.
AGILINK reports validation over 500,000 cycles. The hand targets research, embodied-AI training and humanoid platforms. Global Drone HQ took pre-orders at 23,999 USD per hand in October 2026, with deliveries from the end of that month.
