Sixty kilograms lifted and 200 kg carried: Duatic's Alpha is built for weight, not for looks. The Zurich company with roots at ETH mounts two of its own DynaArm arms on a wheeled base and calls the result a half-humanoid for intralogistics. The flyer distributed at Hannover Messe 2026 promises 1.5 m/s, twelve hours of operation on hot-swappable batteries and weather resistance.

Each DynaArm is a quasi-direct-drive arm running on 48 V, weighing 9 kg, rated for 6 kg continuously or 14 kg for ten seconds, with 1 m of reach and IP66 protection; its software stack is fully open source on ROS 2. In a demonstration the robot autonomously picked up a 20 kg sack. The maker does not publish height, weight or degrees of freedom and describes the sensors only as perception and navigation.

One caveat: the DXTR product page, titled as the Alpha half-humanoid, quotes different numbers from the flyer, among them 12 kg continuous load, 30 kg for ten seconds and 2 m/s, so prospective buyers should confirm the current specification. Status is prototype, price on request, and the target market is logistics.
