YMBot D4

The highest number in the D series belongs to the YMBot D4, a wheeled industrial humanoid for which the maker, Jiangsu Yunmu Intelligent Manufacturing, releases no public figures at all. The reason is technical: YMBot's website loads as an app whose product interface answers only after login, and the company's second, Chinese domain refuses connections.

The only descriptions therefore come from third-party listings, according to which the D4 would have two seven-axis arms, five-finger hands, a foldable chassis, 165 cm height, 100 kg weight, around eight hours of runtime and ROS 2 support. None of these attributes has been confirmed by the maker and the catalogue does not adopt them.

What is certain is the industrial purpose, the wheeled form factor and membership of a family that also contains YMBot D and YMBot D2; the brand further offers the skin-covered biped YMBot C, cobot arms and mobile platforms, and investor data lists four funding rounds and about ten products. Market status is unknown, price on request.

If ROS 2 support were confirmed, the D4 could interest universities and integrators building their own software, but for now that is speculation. Until a datasheet appears, documented wheeled humanoids such as HSR-ER-HR705 are the safer choice for a project plan.
