Summary

A carmaker stands behind the Mornine M1: AiMOGA is part of the Chery Group in Wuhu and has sold the robot through a JD.com flagship store since 2 April 2026 for 285,800 CNY, which the press converted to roughly 41,400 USD; deliveries began on 23 May 2026. The biped stands 167 cm and weighs 70 kg. Excluding the hands it has 40 degrees of freedom, and it lifts 1.5 kg at the end of each arm.

Walking speed is 1 m/s. The 0.7 kWh battery lasts about two hours, and recharging takes another two. Perception comes from a 3D LiDAR, two depth cameras, a wide-angle camera and four ultrasonic sensors.

Unusually for a Chinese humanoid, it carries European certificates: in September 2025 TUV Rheinland confirmed compliance with the Machinery Directive, the Radio Equipment Directive and the EN 18031-1 and 18031-2 standards of 2024, which simplifies import into the European Union.

The robot was conceived for car dealerships, where it greets customers, presents vehicles and opens car doors; showrooms, retail and training are further uses, and remote control through VR headsets is possible. Hand details and the on-board computer are not disclosed. For comparison, the Beijing-built CASBOT 02 is of similar height but has a smaller battery.
