Bittle X is Petoi's palm-sized, open-source robot dog for STEM education and makers, the successor to the crowdfunded Bittle. It has 9 servo-driven joints, measures 190 x 153 x 107 mm and weighs 269-353 g depending on the servo option. A BiBoard controller based on the ESP32 runs the OpenCat firmware; a 6-axis IMU and an offline voice module (35+ built-in commands, up to 10 custom ones) are included.
The 7.4 V, 1000 mAh battery gives about 1 hour of use. It can be programmed with Petoi Coding Blocks, Arduino IDE or a Python API, and an optional gripper arm is offered. Strengths: low price, open source, agile gaits. Limits: short runtime, tiny payload, plastic frame.
