Summary

Mini Pupper 2 is an open-source educational quadruped from Hong Kong-based MangDang, derived from the Stanford Pupper design and launched on Kickstarter in October 2022. It weighs 450 g, has 12 degrees of freedom driven by MangDang servos with position feedback, carries up to 200 g and uses a 1000 mAh battery.

A Raspberry Pi CM4 runs Ubuntu 22.04 with ROS 2 or ROS 1, assisted by an ESP32 microcontroller, and a 320 x 240 LCD shows the face. OpenCV and the OAK-D Lite camera are supported; SLAM and navigation require the optional STL-06P LiDAR. MangDang sells the pre-assembled kit for USD 649. No official speed or runtime figures are published.
