Hobbs

Hobbs appears in aggregator listings as an expressive education and light-service humanoid from Noetix Robotics in Beijing, but the manufacturer does not confirm a standalone model of that name.

The Noetix website exposes no readable product page, the old product link that aggregators pointed to no longer exists, and the only robot called Hobbs that can be found today is the reception model Hobbs W1 with its silicone face.

The ranges quoted by third parties, 120 to 140 cm tall, 40 to 50 kg and 20 degrees of freedom, match no known Noetix product, so the listing may be outdated or simply a duplicate of the W1. For that reason this record carries no technical values at all: no height, weight, drive, sensors or runtime, and the sales status likewise rests on secondary sources only. Price on request.

Anyone looking for a Noetix robot for teaching will find documented figures under E1, and for reception duties under the Hobbs W1. The entry is kept so that enquiries about the name Hobbs end up in the right place rather than disappearing.
