Motion-control manufacturer Leadshine from Shenzhen entered the robot-hand market in 2025 with the DH116 series, announced in June of that year. The five-finger hand has 11 degrees of freedom, six of them active and driven by brushless coreless motors inside the hand.
At 545 g and 183 by 86.5 by 30 mm it holds 30 kg in a hook grip, grips with 50 N and carries 5 kg per finger; repeatability is 0.2 mm, rated life one million cycles, protection class IP20. The base model carries only encoders, whereas the DH116-M variant adds multimodal tactile sensors in fingertips and palm.
CAN FD is the standard interface with RS-485 and EtherCAT variants available, and an open SDK covers ROS 2, C++ and Python. In the Leadshine web store the right and left versions DH116-R1 and -L1 were priced at USD 2,199 on promotion against a regular 2,299 in October 2026, FOB Shenzhen, with two to four weeks lead time. Buyers are humanoid makers, labs and industry.
Its smaller sister is the DH116S Series, the flagship the DH2116 Series, and a direct rival the Linker Hand L6.
