Linker Hand L6

Closing in 0.35 s and rated for more than one million cycles, the Linker Hand L6 is the entry model from Beijing's Linkerbot for humanoids, research and industry. Its five fingers have 11 degrees of freedom, six active and five passive; each drive is a brushless motor with a ball screw working as an electric cylinder with 200 N thrust and 90 percent efficiency, and linkages carry the motion to the fingers.

The hand weighs 607 g, withstands a maximum load of 28 kg, grips with 50 N, the fingers give 15 N and the thumb 12 N; the four fingers bend 68 degrees at 3.5 rad/s. No tactile sensors are listed. Communication uses CAN or RS-485 at 24 V with 0.2, 0.6 and 5.6 A current draw, and host software runs on Windows and Ubuntu. Three finishes are offered: pearl white, obsidian black and tech silver.

Linkerbot cautions that specifications differ between versions. Price on request. The DH116 Series is the direct rival with the same six active plus five passive layout, and the stronger stablemate is the Linker Hand L20.
