Summary

Before its production hands reached the web store, Leadshine unveiled the DH2015 at WAIC in Shanghai on 26 July 2025: a research-grade hand with 20 degrees of freedom, 15 of them active. The drives are the company's own coreless servo motors, and the centrepiece is a tactile array of 508 sensing points that covers the hand with a dense grid of touch. Communication runs over EtherCAT.

A press release of 27 June 2025 described the hand as being in a pilot phase, and a company news item of 28 July 2025 spoke of trials with dozens of customers. Weight, payload, grip force and price are not published; the model appears neither in the store nor in the product list, so price on request applies. The catalogue lists the DH2015 as a pilot-stage research hand.

Its production descendant with 21 degrees of freedom but without tactile sensing is the DH2116 Series; a rival 20-DOF design with dense skin sensing is the TeleHand Pro P20.
