Summary

The turret maker now builds the truck: Frontline Robotics, whose Burya weapon station rides on the THeMIS, the Ardal, the Logist platform and Germany's GEREON RCS, unveiled its own 6x6 UGV named Frodo in September 2026.

According to the company led by CEO Yevhen Tretiak, the electric six-wheeler has adaptive independent suspension with ground clearance adjustable from 170 to 330 mm, a battery one person can swap, and the ability to keep driving after losing a wheel. Claimed performance is 40 km/h, 150 km range, 200 kg effective payload and 400 kg maximum. Communications span Starlink, LTE, Silvus, ELRS and TBS.

The base version is for logistics and casualty evacuation; the armed variant carries the Burya 2.0 turret with a 40 mm grenade launcher (Mk 19, RDS40 or AGS-53) or a Browning M2. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have cleared the Frodo for procurement, so the status is on sale with pricing on request.

All figures are the maker's own and have not been independently verified; weight, dimensions and sensors are not stated. Burya itself remains a weapon station rather than a vehicle and therefore has no separate catalogue entry. Among electric 6x6 designs the Korean Arion-SMET with 550 kg payload is comparable, though it weighs 2 t.
