The tracked platform from Tallinn weighs 1,815 kg on the maker's 2026 datasheet (earlier sources quote 1,450 to 1,650 kg) and carries a rated 750 kg, up to 1,200 kg at maximum. A diesel generator feeds the battery pack; silent electric running lasts about 1.5 h, hybrid endurance up to 15 h according to the maker, while Joint Forces reports 8 to 10 h. Top speed is 20 km/h, ground clearance 40 cm, gradient 60 percent, trench 90 cm.
Line-of-sight radio reaches 1.5 km, with LTE or satellite links optional, AES256 encryption, follow-me and waypoint modes via the MIFIK autonomy kit. Swappable modules include a cargo bed, a casualty stretcher, the ROCUS route-clearance kit, remote weapon stations in 12.7 mm or 30 mm and counter-drone sensors.
Operators range from Estonia, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway, Spain, the UK and the USA to Japan (3 units), the UAE (40 ordered in 2024) and Australia. Pricing is on request; the 2024 UAE deal for 20 combat vehicles and 40 THeMIS exceeded EUR 100 million according to ERR, with no per-unit split published.
KNDS built the armed knds-optio-x20 on this chassis, and QinetiQ's Titan shares its lineage.
