Trialled at an Estonian exercise in 2024 and fielded by Ukrainian units the same year, the Sirko-S1 from SkyLab is a lightweight 4x4 that nonetheless lays mines, clears them and even carries a mortar.
The electric vehicle weighs about 80 kg (75 kg per Shephard, 80 kg per Mezha, 275 kg with load per Euromaidan Press), carries 200 kg, measures 110 by 80 by 50 cm with 160 mm of ground clearance, reaches 27 km/h (Janes quotes 7.5 m/s, Euromaidan 14 km/h) and runs for about 3 h. Radio control covers 3 km line-of-sight and up to 10 km with a repeater.
Sensors include a 360-degree day/night camera, a thermal imager and a laser rangefinder. The base configuration handles logistics and casualty evacuation, optionally with a trailer; specialist modules add a mortar manipulator, the TROPIYA rocket-propelled demining system and remote mine-laying gear. SkyLab presented the system in November 2023 within the Brave1 cluster.
Pricing is on request; a figure of about USD 8,000 production cost circulating for a 'Sirko-type' vehicle cannot be clearly attributed to this model. Ukraine's tracked TerMIT (280 kg, 400 kg payload) is the heavier workhorse in the same role, and the expendable ratel-ratel-s is the specialised mine-layer that does not come back.
