Dexmate's Vega 1 Pro is sold as a developer platform rather than a finished worker: it ships with open Python, C++ and Rust APIs plus an SDK, and the grippers are bought separately. The machine weighs 135 kg and has 24 degrees of freedom: two 7-DoF arms, a 3-DoF lifting torso, a 3-DoF head and a 4-DoF omnidirectional base with two steering and two drive axes. Each arm lifts 5 kg.
The maker gives no single height figure; instead it quotes a working reach from the floor to 2.2 m, a maximum of 2.50 m with the arms raised and 0.66 m when folded. Runtime is stated as 20 hours, although the battery capacity is not disclosed. An NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor provides the computing.
Sensors comprise a stereo RGB camera in the head, two LiDARs front and rear, four RGB cameras around the base and optional force-torque sensors. The matching end effectors are the two-finger DexGripper S and D with 60 N of grip force. The Vega 1 Pro is in production and can be ordered through the online shop, but the product page shows no amount, so the price is on request.
A sibling, the Vega 1 U, is the same upper body without the mobile base for bench use. Intended uses are research, software development and industrial automation. For a wheeled platform with a published price, compare the Feather.
