CASIVIBOT

Unveiled on 19 August 2025 by CasiVision of Luoyang, the CASIVIBOT is a single-purpose machine: an embodied inspector for surface quality in factories. The company has worked in industrial optical inspection since 2016 and was incubated by the CAS Institute of Automation, which explains the narrow focus.

Press reports describe two humanoid arms and a head carrying a multispectral camera, which the robot angles and brings close to a part the way an experienced human inspector would. That is the core idea: the inspection motions are learned from skilled workers by imitation learning on the Jianxi platform, a vision-language model called Jianxin puts detected defects into words, and the Jianyun platform pools knowledge across a fleet of robots.

The maker positions the system as a complement to fixed AOI lines rather than a replacement. The status is prototype. Press coverage mentions a robot-as-a-service model without figures, so the price is on request. The maker does not publish height, weight, degrees of freedom, runtime or the type of base.

One caution for buyers: CasiVision in Luoyang is a different company from CASBOT in Beijing, although some listings blend the two. For a wheeled robot built for precision tasks on production lines, compare the Centaur-G1.
