AKINCI-5 comes from Konya in Turkey, where AKINROBOTICS, backed by the software house AKINSOFT, has run an 11,000 square metre plant since 2017 that it calls the country's first humanoid robot factory. The robot was announced by video on 26 June 2026, with the company highlighting AI-supported walking and dynamic balance. It is a bipedal design presented as the firm's first industrial humanoid.
Manufacturing, logistics and mining are the stated target markets, but for now the machine is in testing and demonstration. Turkish trade media noted the day after the reveal that technical data had not yet been released, and that remains the case: height, weight, degrees of freedom, lifting capacity, speed, runtime, sensors and price are all unknown.
Figures circulating on third-party sites contradict one another, so the catalogue does not repeat them. Pricing is on request and the status is prototype. Earlier generations of the AKINCI series were shown in previous years. The Russian AIDOL follows a similar path from stage debut to industrial ambitions, though unlike the AKINCI-5 it has published specifications.
