WIRobotics

WIRobotics is a Korean company known for the WIM wearable robot that also develops the ALLEX humanoid, first shown in August 2025 and again at CES 2026. Its hallmarks are in-house actuators with very low friction and inertia, back-drivable and built around maxon motors, and a human-sized hand with 15 active degrees of freedom.

Real-time control runs at 20 kHz over EtherCAT, and whole-body compliance is intended to make contact with people safe. In January 2026 the company said ALLEX was not yet ready for everyday use and announced plans for partnerships. Prices are not published.
