Generative Bionics is a Genoa deep-tech start-up led by CEO Daniele Pucci with a team drawn from the Italian Institute of Technology. It raised an 81 million USD seed round from investors including CDP Venture Capital, AMD Ventures, Duferco, Eni Next, RoboIT and Tether.
Its platform GENE.01 stands out for a full-body tactile skin; the concept appeared at CES in January 2026 and the working robot in July 2026. The first industrial case is welding for Fincantieri shipyards, and the actuators are developed with Synapticon of Germany. The founding year is not published.
