GAC Group, the Guangzhou Automobile Group, has developed wheel-legged humanoids since 2022 as an internal project of the carmaker. The third-generation GAC GoMate from December 2024 has 38 degrees of freedom and an all-solid-state battery and works on GAC's own production lines.

In February 2026 the robotics activity was spun off into Huilun Technology (广东慧仑科技), which commercialises the fourth generation, the GoMate Mini: according to press reports nearly 50 units operate in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Xiamen and Tianjin, and mass production is planned for 2027. Prices for both robots are on request.
