Borg Robotics Inc.

Borg Robotics is a Detroit start-up founded in 2022 that is developing the modular humanoid Borg 01 with in-house actuators, including the Actuator 02 rated at 270 Nm for 1.6 kg. The robot is meant to switch its base between legs and wheels on its own and to work in factories and warehouses with interchangeable end effectors.

The company showed the project in April 2025 and announced a launch for the second quarter of that year, yet in 2026 its website states only that the product is in development. Prices, weight and degrees of freedom have not been published.
