Summary

The standing high jump at the first World Humanoid Robot Games in August 2025 went to the Robot Era L7 (星动纪元 L7) from the Beijing start-up Robot Era, also known as Xingdong Era, with a height of 95.641 cm, ahead of the Jianghuai centre's Lingkong Walker and a MagicLab machine. A year later the same event was won by the Tiangong Ultra at 3.40 m, a measure of how quickly the field moved.

The L7 is a full-size humanoid of 171 cm and 65 kg (quoted without hands by a single source) with 55 degrees of freedom, twelve of them in each XHand1 hand, driven by direct-drive joint modules. The maker claims 4 m/s (14.4 km/h) and a 20 kg carrying capacity, among the highest in this group.

Pre-orders and pilot projects have run since July 2025; a third-party aggregator lists 120,000 USD on request, a figure not confirmed by Robot Era. A PDF brochure exists but was not opened while the data was compiled, so sensors and control architecture remain undocumented here. Reports placing the company in the Tsinghua University orbit are not independently verified.

Compared with the Unitree H1, which is similarly tall, the L7 offers more than twice the degrees of freedom thanks to its dexterous hands, which explains its orientation towards manipulation as much as athletics.
