GMH18 (GEN3)

GMH18 is the third generation of PaXini's hands and the first with five fingers. Its 18 degrees of freedom split into eleven active and seven passive, five of them in the thumb alone; coreless motors inside the hand act through multi-link mechanisms.

Summary

GMH18 is the third generation of PaXini's hands and the first with five fingers. Its 18 degrees of freedom split into eleven active and seven passive, five of them in the thumb alone; coreless motors inside the hand act through multi-link mechanisms. The rated load is 20 kg, which the maker flags as a laboratory value.

More than a thousand ITPU tactile units cover nail, fingertip, finger pad and palm and distinguish fifteen tactile modalities; an optional palm or back-of-hand camera is offered in RGB, RGBD or infrared versions. Control performs adaptive grasping with feedback from the whole surface.

Connectivity is the broadest in the PaXini range, with USB, EtherCAT, Ethernet, Modbus and CAN FD, and power can come from USB PD 3.1 or a 24 to 48 V supply. Weight, fingertip force and speed are not published. Target fields are humanoids and industry. The price is on request, as neither the maker's shop nor its AliExpress listing shows a figure.

Compared with the four-finger DexH13, the GMH18 quadruples the load rating and adds joints, and its five-axis thumb brings it close to tendon designs such as the Linker Hand L30 Pro.
