DexH5 opens PaXini's hand family as the first-generation model and the simplest of the three. Four fingers provide nine degrees of freedom, five of them active and driven by coreless motors inside the hand. The load rating is 4 kg, the largest graspable object 10 cm across, and a full open or close takes at least one second.
Touch is again the defining feature: 528 ITPU multi-dimensional tactile units cover the fingers, fewer than half the count of the DexH13 but still more than most competing hands offer. The control software covers three basic actions, grasping, pinching and pressing. Communication runs over EtherCAT or Modbus. The maker publishes neither weight, fingertip force nor supply voltage.
Intended fields are services, research and industry. On the product page PaXini points to its own web shop and to AliExpress without quoting a figure, so the price is on request. For labs that want to evaluate PaXini's tactile sensing without paying for the second-generation model, the DexH5 is the natural entry point; the full five-finger version is the GMH18.
