Summary

Unveiled at Hong Kong Science Park on 17 August 2026, the RayNex G3 is the heavy-payload biped of NineRay Technology, a mainland Chinese maker founded by Xu Zhigen that keeps a regional base in the park. The robot stands 173 cm tall yet weighs under 60 kg.

Its lifting figures are the headline: 30 kg carried during normal operation, 60 kg held with both arms, and a stage demonstration of deadlifting between 100 and 200 kg. The 32 degrees of freedom are distributed as seven per arm, six per leg, three in the neck and three in the waist, all electrically driven.

NineRay speaks of embodied AI in general terms but publishes no details on sensors, battery capacity or runtime. The intended use is moving heavy items in manufacturing and logistics. Reports of a sales launch in September 2026 come only from secondary sources, so the catalogue status stays at prototype, and the price is on request.

For a much larger hydraulic machine aimed at similar heavy-duty settings, see Neo1.
