Linker Hand O6

At 360 g the Linker Hand O6 is the compact entry in LinkerBot's line-up. Six motors housed inside the palm drive eleven joints through linkages, six of them actuated and five passive, which keeps the forearm free of hardware, unlike the tendon-driven Linker Hand L30 Pro.

The maker rates the hand for a 50 kg load and a 70 N grip; each finger delivers 25 N and the thumb 20 N. Finger flexion runs at 1.30 rad/s and thumb swing at 1.36 rad/s, with repeatability better than ±0.20 mm. A tactile sensor is only available as an option, so the base model gives no contact feedback.

Connectivity covers CAN, CAN FD, RS-485 and EtherCAT, and the supply range is 24 to 48 V. A graphical tool for Windows and Ubuntu handles configuration. Seven colour variants are offered. The hand addresses humanoid builders, industrial users and research labs; the maker does not publish a price, so it is available on request.
