The VB1 is the first wheeled humanoid from Lanxin Robotics, a Hangzhou company that supplies 3D vision and autonomous mobile robots to Huawei, BYD and CATL and keeps an office in Nagoya. Some listing sites call it VersaBot VB-1, but the maker's page simply says VB1.
The robot measures 700 by 610 by 1,650 mm and rolls on four omnidirectional wheels at up to 1.2 m/s, with 22 mm of ground clearance and a turning diameter of 580 mm. Both arms have six joints and a grip load of 2 kg, working from 0.4 to 2 m above the floor. Localisation relies on 3D laser SLAM and the eyes are a panoramic RGB-D camera. Runtime is 2 to 3 hours.
Lanxin does not publish weight, total joint count or battery capacity; much larger figures circulating on third-party sites are unverified. The VB1 is sold on request for factory and research use, with electronics, automotive and battery production named as scenarios. Its faster differential-drive sibling is the VB1-I and its bigger successor the VB2.
