Xingzhe 2 (行者二号, Xíngzhě Èrhào; DroidUp X02 / X02-Lite)

Where most racing humanoids rely on direct-drive joint motors, the Xingzhe 2 (行者二号, Xíngzhě Èrhào, marketed as DroidUp X02 and X02-Lite) from Shanghai's DroidUp uses a bionic tendon-and-cable transmission that lets its motors shift power between joints as the load demands. The result is a 1.70 m humanoid weighing just 28 kg, with a maker-claimed running endurance of about six hours.

At the first Beijing E-Town humanoid half marathon on 19 April 2025 the Xingzhe Erhao team finished third in 4:25:56, made up of 4:00:56 of actual running plus a 25-minute penalty for two robot swaps; reporters noted it needed the fewest battery changes in the field. The robot ran wearing boxing gloves to protect its hands in falls and collected special awards for popularity, form innovation and gait.

Asia Times quotes 4:50, probably a mix-up with the fourth-placed robot. Founder Li Qingdu's company was preparing series production in April 2025 according to Yicai; no price has been published. A RoboCup 2026 specification sheet lists an X02 at 1,700 mm, 35 kg and 26 degrees of freedom, but as an unreadable scan it was not adopted.

Compared with the winner Tiangong Ultra, the Xingzhe 2 carried half the mass but needed nearly twice the time.
