Summary

ANYmal X is the explosion-protected version of ANYbotics' ANYmal quadruped, certified under ATEX and IECEx for Zone 1 (IIB T4) hazardous areas and rated IP67; its main body is pressurised with nitrogen.

According to the Generation D datasheet it stands 87.2 cm tall while walking, weighs 60.1 kg with inspection payload and gas sensor, walks at up to 1.0 m/s (0.5 m/s recommended) and runs 60 to 120 minutes on a swappable 932.4 Wh battery. Sensors include a 16-channel LiDAR, depth cameras, a 20x zoom camera, a thermal camera and a microphone; computing runs on two 8th-generation Intel Core i7 CPUs.

It targets oil and gas and chemical plants, with early users such as PETRONAS. ANYbotics publishes no price and says the 2026 specifications are coming soon, so these figures may change.
