Team Chaos

Team Chaos is essentially the one-man effort of George Francis, a self-employed mechanic who built Chaos 2, the only robot to win the UK Robot Wars championship twice (Series 3 in 1999 and Series 4 in 2000). The 84 kg CO2 pneumatic flipper was the first to throw an opponent out of the arena and made its last appearance in 2007; the robot is now a static display.

An Ipswich base appears in descriptions but is not confirmed by the verified Wikipedia extract. Francis drove the robot himself, which was unusual among the leading teams of the show’s era.
