Team Carbide is the British team of captain and driver Dave Moulds and builder Sam Smith, creators of the horizontal bar spinner Carbide, the most dangerous weapon of the Robot Wars revival in 2016 and 2017. The robot won the UK championship of Series 9 (2017) and finished runner-up in Series 8 (2016, final against Apollo) and Series 10 (December 2017, final lost to Eruption on a judges’ decision).
The team’s base is not given in verified sources, and the bar specifications circulating in fan wikis come from pages that could not be checked. Since the show ended in 2018 the team has not competed on television.
