Robo Challenge is a UK robot-building studio for television and events run by James and Grant Cooper. According to the available sources its crusher Spectre won the first season of China’s King of Bots (2018). The company also tours the retired Razer, a former Robot Wars champion. A Birmingham base and the address robochallenge.co.uk are not confirmed by verified sources.
The studio illustrates the professionalisation of the British scene: robots are built here commercially rather than in garages as in the show’s first wave.
