Rheinmetall Canada (Rheinmetall AG)

Rheinmetall Canada in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, is the Canadian subsidiary of Germany's Rheinmetall AG of Düsseldorf and the home of the Mission Master family of autonomous ground vehicles.

It develops and builds the electric, amphibious 8x8 Mission Master SP (now SP2), the diesel 4x4 Mission Master XT (XT2) and the PATH autonomy kit that provides convoy driving, waypoint navigation and follow-me modes.

Customers include the US Marine Corps, which signed a contract for twelve vehicles in 2026, the British Army with four Robotic Platoon Vehicles, and the Dutch Army, which trialled the system from 2020. Mission Master vehicles have also been shown with Polish Warmate loitering munitions at MSPO 2019.
