Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – PIAP (Przemysłowy Instytut Automatyki i Pomiarów)

Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – PIAP (the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements) in Warsaw is a Polish research institute specializing in automation, measurement and mobile robotics, with particular emphasis on specialist robots for security services: the HUNTeR, GRYF and IBIS bomb-disposal and reconnaissance robots and the TARANTULA medical-evacuation robot.

None of these robots, however, has its own detailed model page in the lineup described here, even though the product names are known from the institute's website. That is a real information gap to be filled later, since PIAP is one of the few Polish players in this segment alongside MAB Robotics. We found no confirmation of a separate unit called PIAP Space on the institute's official site.

The founding year and financials of the institute, as part of a state research network, have not been verified. PIAP nevertheless remains an important reference point for national specialist robotics and public safety.
