Midea Group

Midea Group is a Chinese home-appliance conglomerate that, since acquiring KUKA, also controls one of the world's major industrial-robotics businesses. For its own plants the group develops humanoid robots; the third generation, MIRO U, was shown on 5 December 2025 at the Greater Bay Area New Economy Forum in Guangzhou.

The robot carries six fully actuated arms on a wheeled, lifting base and is in pilot use at Midea's washing-machine plant in Wuxi, where it is expected to cut line changeover times by about 30 percent. These robots are not offered for sale, and Midea does not publish their specifications.
